RM3P on the Road: Past and Upcoming Conferences and Industry Engagements

As RM3P continues to advance innovative transportation solutions, program leaders routinely engage with industry professionals, researchers, and public-sector leaders to share lessons learned and contribute to broader conversations about mobility, transportation technology, Travel Demand Management (TDM), etc.

In the past few months, RM3P leaders have had opportunities to present their work and engage with transportation professionals through several industry events.

• American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Committee on Transportation System Operations (CTSO) Annual Meeting
  Charlotte, North Carolina | March 25–27, 2026
  Sanhita Lahiri, AI-DSS Technical Advisor and AI-DSS Simulation Working Group Lead, presented the AI-DSS program element, highlighting its innovative approach to coordinated, multimodal decision support.

• Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Committee Meeting  June 3, 2026
  Candice Gibson, AI-DSS Project Manager co-presented with Mindhop, Inc. on the AI-DSS program element as a real-world example of coordinated, multi-modal decision support. The presentation supported MAG’s efforts to explore similar capabilities for the Phoenix region while sharing RM3P’s lessons learned and ongoing development efforts. View the meeting here.

• National Travel Monitoring Exposition and Conference (NaTMEC)
  Nashville, Tennessee | July 6-9, 2026
  Nikola Ivanov from the University of Maryland Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Laboratory (CATT Lab), presented on “Data-Exchange Platform to Support Regional Multi-Modal Safety, Reliability, and Mobility” in the Inter-Agency Collaboration track.

In the coming months, RM3P will be featured at two major industry events, highlighting the program’s work to improve multi-modal mobility through data-driven solutions and regional collaboration.
