Regional Multi-Modal Mobility Program
RM3P Digest – Summer 2026
The Regional Multi-Modal Mobility Program (RM3P) continues to advance its mission of improving mobility through data, technology, and regional collaboration. Supported by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority (NVTA), the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT), and the Fredericksburg Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (FAMPO), RM3P is building on years of innovation as its program elements continue to evolve, from development and deployment to long-term operations and sustainability.
This edition of the RM3P Digest highlights several recent milestones and advancements across the program. Inside, you’ll find updates on national recognition for the Dynamic Incentivization (DI) program element and the GoMyWayVA® app as well as updates on leadership transitions, and enhancements to the Data-Exchange Platform (DEP). You’ll also learn about ongoing efforts to better understand evolving commuter parking trends through the Commuter Parking Information Services (CPIS) program element, and upcoming opportunities for RM3P team members to share lessons learned with transportation professionals around the world. Together, these updates reflect RM3P’s continued progress in delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that support travelers and transportation agencies across the region.
